Salla Estate winery was established in 2010. It is located in the village of Blaskovo, Provadia municipality. The village is situated in the heart of the famous Provadia plateau Sarta, only 60 km from the town of Blaskovo. The village is situated 60 km from Varna. In the vicinity of the village rises the naturally protected medieval fortress Mukhalisko Kale, in the cliffs of which is carved the rock monastery, dating from the 12th - 14th century, and in the cave Tupani, inhabited since the Stone Age, at every blow is heard an echo like the sound of a drum.

During the cultivation of the land prior to the planting of the new vineyards, Greek and Roman coins from Mysia and Thrace, fragments of pottery and ceramics dating from the 4th century BC to the 19th century were discovered in the area, testifying to the existence of a large wine market.

The wines are made with state-of-the-art equipment and applying the latest modern trends - without any compromise on quality.

For the production of the wines in the winery "Salla Estate" are used methods as sparing as possible the raw material, in order to allow the full expression of varietal characteristics and unique terroir. The white wine is produced from the Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer and Vrachanski Miscat grape varieties. Red wine is produced from Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir grapes. The Rosé wine is produced from Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir grapes, using the technology of white wine production.The grapes are hand-picked in 10 - 12 kg crates and immediately transported to the winery.

The grapes are grown on 300 acres of their own vineyards, located next to the winery, on a southwest facing hillside. The terrain is hilly and the area combines unique natural conditions - a combination of suitable soil, topography, climate. The planting material is from the French company Guillaume and includes the elite white varieties of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer, Riesling, the attractive red varieties of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and the local Bulgarian variety Vrachanski Misket.

The climate is transient continental. The annual sunshine is 2172 hours, with 1526 hours during the vegetation period from 01 April to 30 September. The annual temperature sum is 3100 - 3700°C. The soils are represented by carbonate sandy loam deposits. They are characterised by good aeration, permeability and water-holding capacity.
