Chateau Puygueraud 2018, Francs - Cotes de Bordeaux
91/100 AW
The blend consists of 85% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec
“It has a nice freshness, raising the dense layers of black fruit and ending with a good length. " 90-92/100 R. Parker
The great wine from the plateau and the clay and limestone hills overlooking the Cotes de Francs appellation. It is a rich wine, with a clear and elegant palate. A lot of energy and fruit in its structured tannins with a pretty nose of fruit and spices. A blend of Merlot (majority), Cabernet Franc and a little Malbec. A cru that requires a few years in the cellar to express all its qualities.
Food pairing: red meat, feathered game, hard cheese.
