Cabernet Franc - ancient and timeless has found its perfect place in our vineyards near the village of. Gorno Botevo, in the heart of the Thracian valley. After being planted in 2005, having gone through storms and the elements, repeatedly proving its resilience and class, it has met the challenging year 2020. This year has presented us with a combination of specific climatic features that have contributed to the maximum expression of the character of the Cabernet Franc variety.

Most naturally, this exceptional wine was formed in a barrel unique in itself, made from 300-year-old oak planted back in 1716 in the forests of the Troncé in France. Recognised as an area whose oak forests produce the finest barrels for aging Cabernet Franc, this century-old tree has brought together memories of centuries of revolutions, ups and downs. The last two trees from parcel 48 in the Transy forests, from which the Orion barrel house created 71 barrels, were used to make this barrel, and we are privileged to own barrel number 64/71.

For 30 months, this barrel has transmitted its energy, memories and experiences to our Cabernet Franc.

The marriage between the wine and the barrel gave birth to this exceptional wine, which concentrates the specificity of the terroir of the village. Gorno Botevo, the wisdom of the oak, the characteristics of Cabernet Franc and the vision of the winemaker.

delivery on the next day is possible only if the order is placed before 11am and all ordered articles are available at the time of purchase
not later than 3 ( three) working days - for the teritorry of Sofia city and rest of Bulgaria, if order is placed after 11a.m.
