MAVRUD Neragora
MAVRUD Neragora

100% Mavrud

An old indigenous grape variety named by the Thracian soldier Mavrud. The legend tells that back in the times when white grapes were forbidden for growing, Mavrud's mother secretly grew and produced wine from red grapes. This wine was the secret power and braveness Mavrud had for his battles. When the tzar found it was the wine, named it to Mavrud and new Mavrud vines were planted again in the kingdom.

MAVRUD Neragora has bright cherry red color. Rich and intensive aromas with multilayered notes of cheery, red berry fruits, black currants, plum, pear and spices such as cinnamon and black pepper. On the palate is rich and powerful, juicy and fruity. Velvet tannin, long and fresh finish. Longlasting and mineral aftertaste. Complex and harmonious, great for aging.

Match it with veal, grilled meat, game, ripe cheeses. This wine is great aging more than 10 years.
