2017 vintage, 13% alc: very dry and dense taste of barrique with smell of dry plum, herbs and sour-cherry. I think it needs more time to lay down in the cellar to get less harsh. Good wine with intense food not for stand-alone.
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot
Monkov Brother's Cuvee has deep, shiny purple red color. Rich and intensive aromas dominated by ripe black berry fruits and sour cherry, touch of fresh mint, carmel candy, cream, chocolate and delicate smoky notes. On the palate is well balanced and juicy, good structure, longlasting finish with ripe fruits complimented by delicate smoky and caramell notes.
Aged for 12 months in french oak, good ageing potential, at least 5 years.
