Icelandic vodka Reyka is the only vodka in the world that uses a Carter-Head still. Its high copper content contributes to an exceptionally smooth taste with natural sweetness and notes of wild berries.
Reyka Vodka is produced in small batches of 1,000 liters to ensure outstanding quality. Each distillation takes around six hours and yields 255 cases.
Reyka Vodka is not just made in Iceland—it is created by Iceland. Its water comes from an Arctic spring, flowing through a 4,000-year-old lava field. And great vodka starts with pure water.
The distillery is powered by geothermal energy sourced from Iceland’s underground volcanoes. The vodka is distilled in Borgarnes, a coastal village surrounded by abundant natural resources.
The air there is so clean that carbon dioxide levels are actually constantly decreasing. The master distiller is Þórður Sigurðsson, who is also the local firefighter and policeman.
